Merciless blitz on defenceless Gaza — growing numbers
of dead and injured
Victims 19 April–20 April 2025:
44 killed — 145 wounded
Since dawn, Israeli air strikes and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, resulted in the death of 44 residents and the wounding of 145 others, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 51,201 with the total wounded at least 116,869. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since 7 October, 2023 is at least 91and, that of those injured, more than 208. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.
West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
Israeli Army attacks – refugee camp: Jenin – Israeli Occupation forces continue to storm the city as well as the refugee camp.
Israeli Army attacks – 1 child and 1 adult wounded – refugee camps: Tulkarem – Israeli forces, continuing their storming of the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nour Shams refugee camps, opened fire while raiding homes and abducting a 15-year-old boy, Ahmed Raed Awad, as well as one other resident.
Israeli Army attack – 1 man wounded: Tulkarem – 21:00, Israeli troops opened fire, from the Annexation Wall adjacent to the town of Zeita, wounding and hospitalising a man: Karam Ahmed Qasim Suleiman.

Israeli Army church violation: Jerusalem – 15:30, Israeli Occupation forces assaulted Christians participating in Holy Saturday at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and prevented them from entering the church through the New Gate.
Israeli Army church violations and population–control: Jerusalem – Israeli forces tightened control at checkpoints surrounding the city and set up several more, on the road leading to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and Old City neighbourhoods. They hindered the arrival of worshippers to the church, preventing people, including the Apostolic Nuncio and Representative of the Vatican to the State of Palestine, as well as Archbishop Adolfo Tito Yllana, from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The Israeli Army also prevented Christians from entering the Church of St James,near the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and blocked the entrance.
Israeli Army road–rage: Jenin – 22:30, an Israeli Army vehicle ran into, and hospitalised, two people: Muhammad Aqil Raafat and Adel Mustafa Abu al-Hasan.
Israeli Army robbery and population–control: Nablus – 13:25, Israeli troops seized a cement mixer and cranes belonging to the Beit Dajan Village Council, as well as an agricultural tractor and a vehicle belonging to a worker installing a power line in the Zawiya area of Beit Dajan village.

Occupation settler agricultural sabotage: Ramallah – 11:45, an Occupation settler grazed his sheep among crops growing on Deir Dibwan agricultural land.

Occupation settler agricultural sabotage: Ramallah – 19:55–21:00, Israeli Occupation settlers invaded agricultural land beside the bypass road between Deir Dibwan and Burqa village, terrorising people while cutting down and uprooting olive trees.

Occupation settler terrorism and child abductions: Nablus – 16:35, an Israeli settler sneaked into the outskirts of Beit Furik and abducted three children, none of them above ten years of age, from in front of their home and tied them to an olive tree. They were later found by neighbours and set free.
Occupation settler terrorism: Jericho – 08:30, a Israeli Occupation settlers raided the Bedouin community in the Ras Ein al-Auja area and began to graze their sheep between people’s homes.
Occupation settler arson – agricultural sabotage: Hebron – evening, Occupation settlers set fire to wheat and barley crops, in the Masafer area of Yatta. The fire also destroyed building equipment and timber being used to construct a house.
Occupation settler armed terrorism: Hebron – evening, armed Israeli Occupation settlers threatened to steal a flock of sheep, near the area of Khirbet al-Tabban.
